Community Development

At Sourbah Foundation, we believe that collaborating together, we can transform the lives of individuals and communities throughout all of Sierra Leone. With this end in mind, we both initiate and sponsor various Community Development projects.

In addition to sports initiatves like the Sourbah Foundation Trophy 2026, the projects Sourbah Foundation supports, include initiatives to improve access to hospitals & local healthcare services, schooling & education and employment opportunities for youth.

At Sourbah Foundation, we believe that good education is the foundation for a brighter future for our children and ultimately for our nation.

We sponsor, support and collaborate with organisations that seek to improve the educational services provided in the local districts of Sierra Leone. This may include assistance with building schools, improving facilities and supplying educational materials.

Sierra Leone is a vibrant young nation, bursting with potential. There is a in high demand for jobs spanning agriculture, healthcare, education, technology and international development sectors, amongst others.

We believe that in order to maximise the opportunities for growth, we need to invest heavily in both training and skills development of our youth and also in entrepreneurs, who will create the jobs and opportunities in the marketplace.
